Some of the greatest places on the planet take a little work to get to and that is precisely what makes the journey so valuable. When I was younger it was all adventure, but now that I have grown older there are points of resistance that I must push through - not because the journey is not just as exciting as it was at 23, but rather because at 63 I have grown more cautious and more intuitive and I choose to listen to what is inside my gut before I leap. At 23, I would just simply leap and several times that was not the best thing to do, despite the fact that I lived through some pretty harrowing events. But, we'll get to all that.
